## Overview

FLEXTRIM Flexible Cove Molding (#WM93) is a durable, 8-foot long polyurethane trim with a 0.75" x 0.75" profile. Designed for interior and exterior use, it resists moisture, warping, and cracking, making it ideal for humid or extreme conditions. Its flexible nature allows bending to a minimum 6" radius, enabling seamless installation on curved surfaces. The light oak grain texture is perfect for painting or staining, and it installs easily with standard woodworking tools using adhesive and minimal nails for a clean, professional finish.

## Description

Conventional woodworking tools can be used with this material. Always install moulding in a relaxed position. Use construction or panel adhesive continuously on the backside and nails to secure moulding in place until adhesive bonds. Remember - do not use staples to fasten material, keep nails to a minimum (no closer than 6 inches between nails), and do not nail closer than 3/8 inch from edge of moulding. Flex Trim is stable and will not absorb moisture and is ideal for humid environments. It is not affected by heat or cold and can withstand extreme environments. ALWAYS lay out the material to let it relax back into its original shape; this is a good time to double-check molding style and application. NEVER pre-finish the material prior to installation. The material may flex during installation and cause fractures in the finish. ALWAYS make certain that the surface you are applying the material to is flat and smooth. Flexible molding will follow any irregularities in the surface. NEVER use staples or nails with large heads. Keep nails to a minimum and away from edges to avoid "bumps" at the edge. ALWAYS use a construction adhesive in conjunction with (or in lieu of) nails or screws. This will ensure a quick and easy application and a cleaner finished look.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What kind of adhesive should be used if placed against a tub and tile?**
A: (seller here)  We are not sure what type of adhesive will bond to a tub or tile but  a GEL type super glue bonds very well to our material (Loctite PL premium adhesive and Liquid Nails).

**Q: I am working a an old entry door with a glass insert that is curved at the top. Can the molding be used to hold the leaded glass in place?**
A: I believe it will hold the glass if it is adequately secured to the frame. I had to remove some of the molding I used on a project that was only fastened with No. 23 pin nails. I had to pry a corner loose to start the removal.

**Q: Am I able to flex this product vertically beyond 90 degrees? I'm looking to install vertically on a wall with an angle of ~135 degrees**
A: (seller here)  We are not completely sure if we understand your question so it might be best to call us to discuss but - assuming are on the same page - you could install it as described but there will be a gap as the material is not "stretchable" and is made to be installed on a 90 degree surface like a bending wall or circular column where 2 surfaces create an approximate 90 degree angle.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ flexible transition to smooth corners

I have a step made of shaped concrete which is covered with tile pieces. After replacing a worn out carpet with new wood flooring, I had an awkward gap that would have ordinarily required a lot of effort to construct an attractive transition. Instead, I used this material, which looks great and was much easier to use than any other approach. After fitting the material to the corner between the step and the floor, I cleaned the tile, applied a generous bead of liquid nails to the vertical face of the material, placed it and held it there for 24 hours with about a dozen weight lifting plates (10-25 lb). I needed to fill some small gaps along the top due to minor uneven surfaces in the tiles with a little bit of wood putty, but now it looks excellent. I haven't even gotten around to staining it, and it still looks great. After 6+ months installed, this adhesive approach is holding up well.
