The sponge grip is on only 1 leg but still better than not having it on any. The maximum height is really good. Great stability with the max weight that I used which is around 4kg so far. Keep in mind the center of gravity when using at max height as that changes a lot of factors. It extend out to a max 176cm height, the vertical head movement and horizontal rotation are both smooth and workable. The centre pole can be adjusted up and down with a twist knob, it double as a monopod when you pull it out of the tripod completely as shown in my video. I love the monopod feature, it stabilize the camera without being too restrictive of movements. It comes with 2 quick mounting plate which is really handy if you have more than one camera.
