It's a metallic silver that doesn't match my decor. The lines in the wood are real enough, which adds some texture to the frames. The black looks ok and so does the light brown, which looks like a natural sun-bleached wood. However it is actually a printed design to look like wood, which becomes more obvious (read: gaudy) on the lighter white-ish wood. Overall I was very disappointed in this purchase. ### ⭐ How are these 4 1/2 star *by C***G on Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2019* I can’t believe these are this highly rated. I guess at this price I should have known they were not going to be high quality but these are just so ugly and cheap looking. The outside is a mottled silver like the sponge painted technique that was so hot in the 90s and looks so wrong next to rustic wood...that is, faux rustic wood which is basically painted plastic. I do not recommend these at all, and will be returning. I’ll give them this: they photograph well, because I thought the pictures in the product description looked so nice. The wood framing was more printed and typical of a standard frame. The wood was not rough, or hand stained. Just meant to look that way from far away. Otherwise if your not picky about that like I'am, they are fine. They were packaged very good.
