In hindsight, if I bought an RV brand new or used, or put a new awning on an RV, one of the first things I would do is get a roll of this stuff and put it on that part that is always exposed to sun and highway wind when awning is rolled up. Thats the place every awning starts to go bad first because it suffers through all day of sun and all those hurricane force winds of driving down the highway. The awning manufacturers should add something on that spot to begin with, just like knees of kids pants wearing out first.It went on easy, stuck good, and is thicker than any heavy duty duct tape.I have NOT highway tested it yet though. Even if it started to come off under highway winds, I would still use it again and simply overlap edges with a white heavy duty outdoor duct tape. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing adhesive properties, durable, and easy to apply *by G***T on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on November 5, 2017* I don't know how other folks may have used Permabond tape, but I used it on our in-ground pool...both to repair a 3 - 4 foot area where the pool lining was pulling away from the concrete and around the edge of the pool. I also applied in several spots, where the plastic-covered metal band (about 3" deep) surrounding the pool was chipped or totally worn through exposing rusty metal.I can't say enough good things about the adhesive power, ease of use, and durability of the Permabond tape. It sticks to virtually anything, including concrete, with adhesion properties beyond any other tape I've ever used! Water does not affect it, and application was a snap. In my view, simply an incredible product.
