I am not disappointed; I have found these to be a great replacement. Positives: can wash with the rest of my laundry; don't stain easily (not thinking, I used a white one to stop blood from a papercut, when I realized I figured "oh well, I'll just have one stained hankie," but when I did the laundry the next day, no stains!). Only one con: they aren't that soft; they get softer after a couple washes and they are fine for everyday allergies and nose-blowing, but I think if I had a cold, my nose would get too irritated.
