Usual Dosage: Rectal one suppository as necessary How to use a suppository 1.Remove the suppository from the wrapping. 2.Most people find it helps to insert the suppository if it is moistened with a little tap water first. 3.Using a finger, gently push the suppository into your rectum (back passage) as far as possible, pointed end first. 4.Remain still for a little while to help hold the suppository in place. It will start to work in about 20 minutes or so. 5.Wash your hands afterwards. **Q: Do these help with stool softening? My newborn has a hard time getting it out because of the hardness.**
A: Yes it also softens the stool. But of course this is just a temporary solution and you should try to treat the underlying cause of stool hardening/constipation

A: Yo se lo puse a mi beba de 7 meses y no le fue mal, solo que noto que no se disuelve en 15 minutos, al final lo devuelve casi entero. Preferí no ponerselo más y está resolviendo con compota de ciruelas y la naranja sin el pellejito blanco en las meriendas. Suerte con tu bebé

**Q: Can you use this on a 1 month newborn?**
A: Yes I have used these for decades on many of my 6 children, grandchildren and now great grandchildren. They are long, and using half the length may help. 
A newborn is developing many muscles the sphincter can be slow, and constipation is often with some formulas I hope this is helpful for you and gives baby relief, too.

**Q: How long and wide is each suppository?**
A: i never used or open them because they just didnt seem legit enough for me to use for my baby, but u can always cut suppositories lengthwise to make them smaller size, never cut them in half horizontally, always the longest side that way it becomes thin enough to use. should go in about an inch total

Listen. I’m not saying these glycerin chips changed my life—but they definitely changed my baby’s diaper. After three days of no action, my sweet, chubby bundle of joy had turned into a grunting, red-faced sumo wrestler.
