First, it's quiet. (We replaced a pump that had been dying for about a year--and then it did). Yes, I can hear it, but it's so ridiculously much quieter, I barely notice it. Plumbing it in was a pain, because the old pump and the new pump aren't exactly the same size. (You could save yourself that trouble by just hiring a plumber). Electrical was straightforward, but, of course, requires patience to get everything back in the tubing just so. It took my husband about 20 minutes to do that). The water is moving like crazy, the skimmers do their job again, and I have high hopes for the vacuuming. My only disappointment is the skimmer basket size. My pool lives under a maple tree, so I foresee a whole lot of emptying the skimmer basket in my near future. Overall, I'd say it's well worth the price here(which is a lot less than the pool stores here charge). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quiet and Reliable, very good value *by A***S on June 18, 2018* I purchased this pump almost two years ago and it has worked very well in my 10,000 gallon inground pool. It replaced a pump that had slightly higher peak horsepower and it provides flow that is quiet and more efficient. I live in Florida and the pump runs all year. I use shorter run times in the colder months of about four hours per day and during summer months, 12 hours during first month it is in use and then 10 hours per day for the rest of the time. Again, it has been trouble free since I purchased it in 2016 and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very dependable *by J***X on July 18, 2019* I got the pump a couple moths ago and my old pump had been dead all winter. My pool/pond was a mess. When I first had the pump hooked up, we ran it for about 3 days straight with no rest. I was afraid it might burn out, but it kept going strong. It took about a month to get the pool water clear, and I ran the pump more than I will probably ever have to again so long as I keep up the pool. I am very pleased with how it works. my pool is on the borderline of 1 HP or 1 1/2 HP. But this 1 HP pump works great. The pool is crystal clear, and all that extra use didn't raise the electric bill as much as I thought it wood. it had a reputation of being a very dependable pump, and I can sure vouch for it.
