It took a bit of figuring out exactly which of the many adapters would work for my application but I finally got it. It is working fine so far. It is mounted to the mirror of my 2018 Grand Cherokee. I took detailed pics so if anyone else has a similar setup they can see how I did mine. After using it for about a week, my only complaints are that it hangs lower than when it was mounted to the windshield with a suction cup (more noticeable for potential theft, blocks some view out the windshield) and it vibrates more on rough roads. Maybe I'll use this during the hot summer months and switch back to the suction cup during other seasons.

I have a Rove R2-4K Dual. I got tired of the suction mount occasionally failing in extreme heat, so I decided to try this kit. It took a bit of figuring out exactly which of the many adapters would work for my application but I finally got it. It is working fine so far. It is mounted to the mirror of my 2018 Grand Cherokee. A very strong mount that fits neatly in front of my rearview mirror. I can still hang my handicap placard behind it. I gave 4 stars because the directions were not clear. I could not find an attachment to slide into the slot on the top of my Rove r2-4k. I had repackaged everything to send it back when I decided to look at the Amazon description and photo to make sure I had not missed anything and to make sure I read correctly that it fits my device. That is when I saw the u-shaped fitting in the photo I needed to use and that I did not need a new piece (of the many pieces provided) to slide into the slot on the top of my device. Once I figured this out, I was able to find the u-shaped piece and attach it to the device. I actually used the photo in the Amazon description to put it all together. I suggest that if the advertisement specifically states it fits a certain popular device that there be better instructions for that device.
