Review: Commercial greenhouse application - Decided to give this company a try for ladybugs. The price was good, the bugs came quickly, and only a very few didn't make it. They've been happily munching our pests and doing a great job cutting down the population. We plan on using this company again and again for our ladybug pest control. Update 2/14/2020: One caveat about these ladybugs - they appear to be sterile. At least with the first order they are not reproducing. This is a critical problem, because one of the main ways to control pests with ladybugs is by the larvae. Ladybugs lay eggs and when the larvae hatch they consume more than the adults. This way you can keep the cycle going for a while without having to reorder. This may have been a one-time problem, but we will look elsewhere for our ladybugs for now.

**Q: Are these ladybugs or Asian lady beetles?**
A: These are NOT Asian lady beetles. The Asian ones are not beneficial and are considered pests. These are NOT them. These true ladybugs are the good ones. I got them and can assure you these are legitimate.

**Q: What are the stakes for?**
A: The stakes are just a little advertising bonus that you can use to label your plants if you’re growing a few varieties of similar looking plants. Like chocolate mint, lemon mint, spearmint, etc....

**Q: When do you put lady bugs in your garden?**
A: When you see aphids on the leaves.

**Q: Will these eat fungus gnats?**
A: These bugs do much better with thrips and other slow moving larvae. For fungus gnats you can use about an inch of fine sand on the surface of your soil that’ll essentially trap them underground in their larval phase and that’ll do the trick if you’re dealing with potted plants.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Aphid control to the rescue!!!

First let me say that I love ladybugs but this review relates to how they are amazing carnivores when it comes to aphids on your garden and on your cannabis plants. Purchased from this company once and released them all in a closed up greenhouse. They immediately went to work on the aphids and did their thing through their life cycle, including laying eggs and propagating. They don't live forever and so had to make a separate purchase from another company for a second treatment because of the infestation. Hopefully will have loads of ladybugs next spring but if the aphids return, will be purchasing again!
