This pan is made from a new nonstick ceramic material that is starting to be used on pans. I have a parrot so do not want any type of Teflon in my kitchen due to the toxic fumes it produces. This pan is made from a new nonstick ceramic material that is starting to be used on pans. It performs just like a teflon pan, and so far, I think it's way more durable (the material isn't a plastic coating that releases toxic fumes; it's more like a baked-on enamel so it resists scratches.) Food simply slides off and you only have to wipe the pan to clean it. Here's what sets this pan apart from others - it maintains its non-stick qualities (On most other pans, this ceramic material completely loses its non-stick ability after only a few uses) I use this on an induction cooktop and it works fine. One tip - use an induction burner exactly the same size or smaller than the pan. For some reason, the pan doesn't work with a larger induction burner.

Amazing Fry Pan! Don’t hesitate to buy this product. It cooks on my flat top evenly and cleans up in a couple of minutes. I will be buying more of this product.

### ⭐ No longer non-stick after less than a year : (

Initially very happy with this pan, but after less than a year the pan is no longer non-stick. Addressed my concerns to the manufacturer and was advised to clean the pan with a magic eraser. Was also advised "Regular Olive Oil is a better option as it has a higher smoke point. We also find that many consumers like clarified butter (Ghee), Refined Coconut Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Peanut Oil and some vegetable oils with high smoke points. We suggest avoiding Avocado oil as this oil can become sticky when heated. If you do choose to cook with Avocado oil, please keep the heat on low to medium." Like many other cooks, EVOO and avocado oil are the oils we like to cook with, but we did avoid them and we made sure to cook on medium heat. The pan didn't even last one omelet before it required cleaning again. It continued to require cleaning with the magic eraser after every use. This is poor performance from a pan that is supposed to be non-stick and easy to clean.
