We ordered right away and are glad we did. We enjoy the pickles (not really the word for them since they are really the Japanese style--lightly "pickled." More like a sauerkraut, except you can include lots more than cabbage. The instruction book is in Japanese and even in the Japanese has very little "instruction." So go to the Amazon reviews or YouTube for recipes and procedures. It's worth it. I've used cucumbers, onion, peppers, cabbage, garlic in different combinations. All have turned out excellent. And it's easy to do.
