I installed mine in my small apartment bedroom to hang my SUP board from my ceiling above my bed. I love it it works very well. I mounted mine with the bend against the wall so I could easily get my board in and out of the hangers without issue. The arms are covered in nylon sleeves to protect your board and they look nice. the ends which secure to the ceiling have additional nylon covers to hide the screws and hardware for a finished look. its been above my head while I sleep for a month or two and I've even shaken it vigorously to see if it would fall. It's still there.
