Sturdy & Roomy. *by C***A on August 19, 2013* I was worried about this basket holding my rather stuffed backpack (it does), and also about having just one basket on one side of my bike with a bag in it making me tip over when I ride (it doesn't), but this basket completely solved my occasionally-commuting-by-bike problem, and is SO much better than trying to bungee my bag to my back rack. It's also totally adorable. I love that it pops right off, so I can carry it inside with me with no hassle. It’s now 2021 and they are still like new although I don’t use them daily. They are pricey but they are absolutely perfect. The baskets are incredibly easy to put on and take off as they just hook on your bike rack. No screws or straps needed and they have never come off. I originally bought them for riding bikes to school with my kids. I can shove ( it’s a little tight) a back pack in each one. Just be sure to have the backpack straps facing away from the tire so they can’t get caught in your bike wheel. I’ve also used the baskets when going to the pool. They are great for towels, snacks and pool toys. I have a carabiner clip on my keys so I clip them to the basket as well. I have also used them many times when camping. Need to run and buy ice? Ride to the camp store, buy two bags of ice, and the baskets will keep you from freezing carrying the ice back to the campsite. Taking a ride with the kids? Throw in your phone, snacks and water bottles for the whole family. Just this weekend I again used my baskets while camping but this time for fishing. We were all heading out to fish and we mamas wanted to have a seat while we watched the kiddos.
