I'm so glad they finally got around to making an eau de parfum because the cologne has no staying power. This one lasts a little longer, but you will have to layer it by applying the lotion first if you want it to last. Otherwise, I made sure my skin is well moisturized before I apply. I put some on my hair and sleeve. Parfum lasts longer on fabric. Just a tiny bit. This isn't febreeze! I might spring for the solid perfume for touch ups, which I normally wouldn't do. But this is a cult classic and smells unique. I find that many department store fragrances smell the same after they dry down. This is a nice, green, clean scent. It is slightly fruity, but not sweet or citrusy. It has a whiff of coconut, but I don't smell like suntan oil or Almond Joy.
