It is supportive and made from durable and strong materials. It is filled with Barley husks, so it isn't as soft as some other bolsters I have seen available, but that isn't an issue and is stated clearly in the product description. It is a little more compact in size from others as well and has a different, more curvaceous shape to it. I find that leaning back on it takes a little adjustment. I may remove some of the husks and replace with a more foamy material to help with the level of firm in this bolster. It seems like it will last a long time! I've had it for a few weeks and it has definitely helped me expand my practice.
