I had expected something more like an Otterbox design where there is a silicone/TPU inner liner, and a polycarb outer shell, but for this product the two pieces are fused together. This actually makes the product MUCH better. The case is easy to install, unlike the Otterbox I had previous, which was notorious to install on the phone!Feel:The grip is good, not too slick and not too sticky, just right. The feel of the device is quite nice.Protection:I've dropped my phone probably 3 times on the corner with this case on without any damage to the phone or the case. About a week ago, the phone fell out of my truck as I was getting out and it slide across the pavement about 20-25ft, again without damage to the phone and only a light scuff on the case.Overall, given the age the Galaxy SII there are many who write the phone off, but the SIII is a workhorse and I am still using mine after 3 years with various hacks and mods. Because of this, there are still tons of people who actively use the SIII as a daily phone.
