They're very sturdy but light weight enough that you can move them and slide them under books with ease. They also come with little felt bottoms so you aren't scratching the bottom of your shelf. If you need a lot of bookends quickly, this is the way to go!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Mine also have no non-skid pads & are useless.  Can dealer be asked to supply just the pads?  Amazon was unhelpful.  I doubt the offered replacement.**
A: I don't know the answer.  But I have some book ends from OMYESA that have 3 little rubber pads
on the bottom that seems to help them stay in place

**Q: Are these bookends shiny or matte finish?**
A: Shiny but since they are black, they don't reflect light. They do slide easier than I would like
