It’s a unique but very pretty smell. It leaves a light scent in my porous hair. The guys even use and their clean smelling guy shampoos leave their scent and this just sweetens that a little. So at this size and value, this is definitely worth trying for the whole family or multi-hair types.Thin/fine-medium/med straight hair - this didn’t weigh down or over condition. It seems to provide some protein, which is nice, but not so much that it’s not a great daily or everytime you wash.Fine/straight (balayage), fine/wavy - fine/LOTS of hair/semi-coarse curls - This was universally excellent. Granted, for my curls I may need something heavier in protein for an occasional. But overall this is a great product that I’ll def buy again and recommend.This is ALMOST 5-star when comparing price vs performance. It’s a 4.5 so I gave it a 4 and here’s why:-Advertised as an all-in-one, but not enough protein for coarse, curly or mixed or black hair. For someone rocking natural curls that aren’t as fragile, it’s close! If you’re straightening you’ll def need more protein.-As a hair mask - Again for most Caucasian hair, this would be fine. Once you get to curls coarse, porous and/or mixed/black hair, this isn’t sufficient as a mask.I HIGHLY recommend, especially at this price, for ANY hair as a daily/everytime you wash for any hair type. I love smell-good anything (& do personally like this) but prefer performance over favorite scent & know not everyone will like what I do. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic for mature color treated hair *by F***M on Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2019* Bought this as I was trying to find a really good hair mask for my 60+, color treated (blonde) hair that was especially prone to frizziness, dry ends and flyaways plus the usual damage caused by years of chemical lightening. I've tried them all, including very expensive ones, but they were okay, or crummy, pretty good or just so-so. I washed my hair, towel dried and applied a good sized glob, combed it through and left it on for an hour under a shower cap, and went about my business around the house. After rinsing I applied only a touch of mousse, none of my other treatments/products (of which there are many), and let it air dry. I even took the dog for a walk while it was damp and let it fly around. Incidentally, it's humid where I live. The difference in the quality and appearance of my hair is pretty amazing. It has now been 4 days since I did this, and my hair is still luxuriously softer, not frizzy, feels thicker and I actually haven't had to pull it back in a pony tail and stick bobby pins in it like I usually do or plaster product or hair spray to keep it in place. This Eva's hair mask is fantastic, the price is so cheap for such a great product, and I think I might have found my holy grail hair mask. Hooray! My ends are SO DRY and nothing seems to soften them up and I really didn't want to cut them off. Tried this earlier today and holy cow, my hair has never been softer! I left it on for about 5 min and made sure to wring out as much water that I could after I shampooed. This photo was right after I blow dried it. The ONLY negative is I don't LOVE the scent.... To me it smells like a combination of vanilla and a box of crayons. Not into it and it does linger all day, at least on me it did.
