It is very easy to apply. I used the plastic wrapper from the cloth to spread this evenly. you have to work quickly as it evaporates fast. it appears smudgy at first but once dry, you wipe it lightly to a shine with the cloth. I then let my phone sit all night. I used the phone the next morning and found it slippery to the touch but after an hour or so, it was evident the missing spot was still there. I followed the procedure exactly the 2nd night and woke to the same results. .. and again the 3rd night. I was mindful to apply a decent amount each time. Personally ? I think this works well as a lubricant but as a "layer building" replacement to the original oleophobic coating, I am not sold on it. I have a little over 1/2 the bottle remaining. I will try it again and again.
