Review: Works really well -- holds even big phones in place - I'm kind of amazed at how well this works. I have an iPhone 7 plus and it has yet to fall off this holder. I originally got one that clipped to my vent, but it constantly pulled it down and even though it said it worked for an iPhone 6 plus, which is actually heavier, my phone would fall off every time I hit a corner a bit too fast. Or sometimes when I hit a bump. But not this puppy -- the phone stays put and I can adjust the angle so it's easy to now use the map feature without holding the phone. And it makes it easy to have my phone always charging because now it's in a spot where the cord doesn't get bunched up. I ended up putting the magnet on the back of my phone case because I already had one on my phone from the previous holder. I don't know if this works so well because I have two magnets on, but it certainly can't hurt. The magnets are thin enough that they don't interfere with how my phone case fits, so you can easily use them over or under your case. My current case is cracked so I'll be replacing it soon and will go back to having only one magnet. I'll update my review if that ends up making a difference. This was easy to install but I do recommend cleaning off the surface where you want to stick it with some alcohol so that it has a clean spot to adhere to. I've had this on for months and it hasn't budged a bit. I do have to occasionally tighten the ring to keep it at the right angle, but that's no big deal. I just love that this is small and I could put it anywhere I wanted. My mother loved it so much that I ended up ordering one for her as well. I absolutely recommend this over the vent clip and any other holder that sticks to your windshield or somewhere else really noticeable. This is small and inconspicuous. You hardly notice it when I don't have the phone on it.

I followed the instructions (cleaned off the spot with alcohol, stuck the mount on, then left it overnight before attaching my phone) and it has not budged, despite the top of my dash being textured and very slightly curved. I had another mount before that had one of those sticky suction cup deals. Although it was nice that I could reposition it or move it to another surface if I wanted to, it was constantly falling off, no matter how clean the both the mount and surface were. Although this stick on mount can't be repositioned unless you buy replacement mounting strips, the stability this design provides definitely outweighs the cons of not being able to move it easily. My previous phone mount also had a clamp to hold my phone. Taking my phone off and on was always a hassle. I'd have to use one hand to hold my phone, and the other to reach around behind the mount and very carefully but firmly squeeze the back of the clamp to open it. If I didn't squeeze the clamp in just the right way, the sticky suction cup base would become detached and send it (and usually my phone) tumbling down. With this magnetic mount, I can use one hand and barely have to think to put get my phone on and off. The ease of removing my phone does not mean the magnet does not hold it firmly. I haven't once had my iPhone 6 Plus slip around or fall off. Once positioned and tightened, the swivel also holds steady. Another plus, of course, is its small size. Even when the mount is not holding my phone, it's not an eyesore and doesn't stick out enough to get in the way. In fact, when it's not holding my phone, I forget its even there. Although my car's interior is short on flat surfaces, the mount is small enough that I didn't have much trouble finding a spot to put it. Just make sure the spot you choose is where you want it to stay. TIP: This mount works especially well with a phone case that is designed to work with magnets. My phone case (which is a Dreem Fibonacci case) has a fully metal back that holds very strongly to magnets. Also, because almost the entire back of the case is metal, I never have to worry about making sure I connect the phone to the mount exactly where I have a metal plate inserted or attached. I think this, along with the lightweight of the case, definitely helps the ease of mounting my phone and making sure it holds.

**Q: Will the magnet demagnetize my debit card in my wallet if I stack them on or next to each other on my dresser?**
A: So the magnet is on the vehicle/mount in the car. The plates that go in the case of the phone are just pieces of thin metal for the magnet to attract.

**Q: Hello, the magnetic mount does not affect the battery and the phone correct?**
A: It typically does not affect phone or battery function. Samsung Note stylus use is affected only when attached to magnet mount. Once removed from magnetic mount, stylus operation will not be affected.

**Q: Can I remove the mounting tape without ruining my cars interior? ie, dash materials and or plastics?**
A: Mine fell off after a year with the changing weather in Dallas. But they provide extra tape. My whole family uses these and they have never quickly fallen off.

**Q: If i wanted to remove it, how would I do that?**
A: I just removed after having it on a smooth car surface for a couple of years.   Using a hair dryer on high, I heated it up for about two minutes - was able to lift the mount off the adhesive, then rolled the adhesive off the surface.  No residue or damage on either to mount or the car surface!

I'm kind of amazed at how well this works. I have an iPhone 7 plus and it has yet to fall off this holder. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy, Small, and Effective

The WizGear Universal Stick On Dashboard Magnetic Car Mount Holder is a great product. Very happy with my purchase. I got it yesterday and installed it in my car this morning. So far so good. I'll edit my review if I come across any issues. PROS: SMALL DESIGN - Doesn't get in the way or stand out as a bulky add-on to the dash. STRONG MAGNET - I was jerking the mount before I put it on my dashboard, trying to get my phone to fall off, but it stuck on! EASY TO USE - The magnetic force holds the phone in place, but isn't a hindrance to quickly grabbing your phone and going. SOMEWHAT FLEXIBLE BASE - The base of the mount has two slits, one on each end of the mount, which I assume was to help the mount stick to curved surfaces. This was also a source of a slight con for me (see below). GREAT ROTATION - The magnetic part that holds the phone has a full 360 swivel ability. It helped make figuring out where to place it easier because I didn't have to just have my phone in one locked position. CONS: NOT AS FLEXIBLE A BASE AS I NEEDED - I blame this more on the design of my car, but the base wasn't able to fully stick to the curve of where I wanted it placed. It was an easy fix, though, I just turned the base side to side instead of up and down and it worked perfectly. Just be willing to think outside the box with placement and it shouldn't be an issue. I'm going to try and add pictures at a later time.
