Review: Beautiful, works very well. - I liked this a lot, so much that I ordered the intake version to use to cool the room and replace the grill ventilation. I have this to reduce the hot air generated by a server in a room. When it is at max speed you can hear it from afar, but it's not a very uncomfortable noise and it's on a corridor outside, so not a big deal. My only wish was that it would be Matter-compatible so I could use some automation for the temperature control. That said, its internal automation for adjusting fan speed according to the temperature works like a charm.
Review: Display went dead after 2 years. - Bought this product in late April of 2018, and this morning the LCD screen went dead. I can barely read anything on the screen now and what I cam see is an extremely faint flickering number and letters. I tried to increase the brightness but nothing happens. This product still works, but with a dead screen it now is limited to the last settings that were configured.

**Q: Can these units be mounted with the controls on the inside of the closet?  Presumably using the exhaust unit as the intake (and intake as exhaust)?**
A: I suppose you can but it wouldn’t look very nice. Much cleaner to mount the proper way.

**Q: Can you convert it to a Intake by flipping the fans?**
A: I suppose you could. Or, just buy the intake version.

**Q: Does the fan get it's power from a regular 110 plug outlet source?**
A: Yes, it does get its power from a regular 110  plug.

I liked this a lot, so much that I ordered the intake version to use to cool the room and replace the grill ventilation. I have this to reduce the hot air generated by a server in a room. When it is at max speed you can hear it from afar, but it's not a very uncomfortable noise and it's on a corridor outside, so not a big deal. I have a powerfull computer under my desk that creates a lot of heat that gets trapped in that area so I needed a solution to evacuate all that hot air. Finding teh T7 was a blessing I was browsing for fans to make a custom solution when I found this product, It works as intended. I have it configured to start automatically when the temperature under my desk reach 85 degrees and so far it works flawlessly turning on and off by itself as needed. It can be a little noisy at full speed. It is easy to install if you are handy and have the right tools but it can be a mess if you dont know what you are doing and depending on the material you have to cut out. The product includes a template that makes it easier to align properly.
