It includes a tool to set the cable-end that attaches to the seat-post. The lever feels and looks high-end. Post has been smooth, working perfectly going up and down and reaching the top position with a satisfying clunk. The thumb control fits ok even on my cluttered handlebar with shifters on both sides. Riding has been a lot more fun, I'd highly recommend getting a dropper post if you are riding trails that are even the slightest bit technical. I was concerned that my specialized epic carbon had a 27.2 seatpost diameter which limited my choices in dropper posts. The unit was very easy to install and has been trouble free since installation. I have only been riding on it for a month so it will be interesting to see how it holds up under heavy use.
