The material is comfortable, durable, and looks classy enough to go out but sporty enough for yoga or running, so they truly are multifunctional. My only complaint, is that some of the designs are seriously hideous. So be very, very careful about which design you choose, and look at it carefully before you buy. I got one that looked so pretty, the colors looked like a gorgeous sunset, and I had planned on wearing it for Thanksgiving dinner. But it turned out to have hideous skulls that looked like they were burning in hell, and you could see the skulls even when you scrunched it up. So that wasn't happening.There was a beautiful blue one and that had the same hideous skulls on it, but I didn't make the same mistake twice.
