The filters are just slightly under sized and tend to slip out of the ceiling register causing an annoying bang when the furnace turns on and off. It also helps seal the edges better so all the air goes through the filters. It is easy to apply and has excellent glue backing to stick well.

**Q: Can i put this tape on the outside of my headphones to prevent sound going through the outside?**
A: No

**Q: Can I paint this to match a wall color?**
A: I would think if you painted the weather stripping, it would become stiff when the paint dried  and this would defeat the purpose of weather stripping.

**Q: Is it UV resistant (sun exposure) for ouy door use on a greenhouse?**
A: No.  If the seal does not get exposed to sunlight for a long time, it would still take a while for it to disintegrate.  I had a piece of it hanging outside of my spare bedroom door to the element for a couple of years now and the glue is no longer sticking.  The tube hardened but the strip as a whole did not disintegrate.  It is reasonably priced so I don't worry too much.  I bought various brands on Amazon, and can't tell the difference.  Just buy the cheapest one per unit length.  Good luck

**Q: Can this be used for the back of a license plate to prevent plate from flapping in the wind and damaging paint?**
A: I'm sure that it could be used for that.

Good quality insulation foam with good adhesive. I bought this for a little project that I was working on and it worked really well. It was the size that I needed, it was easy to use, and provided good insulation. It also provided a good seal where a pipe went through my block foundation.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Little TOO sticky

This product performed as hoped. The only problem was trying to peel the backing off the roll. Sometimes, it pulled the adhesive with it. I had to resort to using a knife to find a good edge and peel the backing from the adhesive.
