Our boxes are made by hand in China and shipped to Amazon customers from multiple Amazon warehouses throughout the country. The top of the lid uses a precisely cut thin sheet of glass. Sometimes people can confuse the sound of tapping on thin glass to be the same as tapping on thin plastic, (Look it up on google, it's a common misconception) but I can assure you with utmost certainty, the top is made with 100% real glass and it will absolutely shatter if you break it.
