These don't slide down my ankles like my previous socks did and they provide an additional feeling of support for the bottom of my feet. I'd suggest, if you wear tight-fitting shoes though, that these might be a tad too thick and you frist buy one pair to see if that will work for you. I really like these socks. They are comfortable to wear. The quality is great. They are perfect for winter temperatures and my feet feel very comfortable. Like extremely sweaty people, I’ve tried Nike puma under armor and all those other “sport” sock but they either get a hole and cause a blister from the intense heat generated by my foot or gets super sweaty like I accidentally stepped into a puddle of water.
