This adapter is obviously used for the HDMI port. This is not an exciting experiment, but I am happy because they all work as expected. I plugged, installed the adapter, prayed, did the Windows key three-finger monitor dance, uninstalled, plugged, prayed, fiddled, faddled, plugged, prayed, restarted, and now I'm telling you about the entire, disheartening, unpleasant and frustrating experience. This product is unsafe at any speed.
