So far it has held up to the elements great and the picture quality has not changed since I first installed it.PROS:Installs easily.Inexpensive.Metal housing, not cheap plastic.Slightly better picture quality than standard 420tvl or 480tvl cameras.Switches to night vision automatically at the right time.Colors are sharp and accurate.Cons:The night vision is not that great. It is however, about the same as any of these inexpensive cameras. I'd say if you do not have any outside lighting the night vision only works about 10 feet out and you can not see much detail.The 700tvl is not a whole lot better than 480tvl, so do not expect a huge difference in picture quality.Final Thoughts: For the price it's a nice little camera. It looks professional, and works as advertised. I do have some other 800tvl cameras which do produce a clearer and sharper image, but this camera is definitely a small step up from the standard 480tvl cameras.
