Instead, I received something like a curd and it tasted more like maple than caramel (and I'm REALLY not a big fan of maple to boot).. I threw the rest of the jar (which was almost completely full) into the garbage. I cannot recommend others to purchase until they drastically improve their recipe and/or batch-testing what is bottled before a batch is released to the public for consumption. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decadent Deliciousness *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2015* This sauce has been a staple in our home for many years now. It's luscious and delicious on vanilla ice cream. You have to know how to eat it, though. I gave a jar to a friend and he spooned it out in a thick cold mass and dumped the inedible glob of it on top of his ice cream. Not good! It needs to be heated until it can be poured.
