## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it work when car is off? And how much time can I use it before it kills my battery?**
A: Its up your power outlet set up on the car if it will work when its off. My truck has outlets that do and some that don't. as far as battery life again its up the health of your battery but I don't let mine run longer than 45 mins to an hour before starting the truck again for a while.  Keep in mind that your 4 ways should be on if your strobes are on.

**Q: How long is the cord ? I do not see it anywhere on the ad .**
A: I don’t have an exact answer but my best guess would be 10 ft. I was able to conceal the cable from the center of my dash to the roof of my truck with about three feet left to spare.

**Q: Night delivery driver. Can I use to alert if unable to find the home? legal?**
A: It's plenty bright to alert passing motorists but I'm not sure if people will see it when they are inside. Esp if they have their drapes or blinds closed.

**Q: Can I remove the wire to feed through a small hole?**
A: Considering that this is a weather tight unit I would caution that any modifications to the wiring might be risky and will certainly void any warranty.  Just make sure it's sealed very well.
