There is something very addictive and rewarding to this game but be warned, it is a real time drain. Starting out I thought it was taking me a long time to achieve very little, the game is unforgiving to a casual, unplanned jaunt while always remaining fair. Things got more productive once I only stuck to the first map until I had accumulated enough cash to buy and upgrade numerous trucks. Other tips I would recommend is to focus on repairing bridges and removing road obstacles, these missions make navigating the map much easier, providing more straight forward options to get from A to B. Graphics are excellent, the lighting is particularly effective however it is the physics of the game, the way your truck responds to the terrain, the resistance of trees and branches you attach the winch to, that really stands out. I love this game but fully appreciate it is not for everyone. I have limited free time and use gaming to relax, I enjoy slower paced, single player games (though online modes are available) that rewards you without too much hand holding. It's a slow paced game, but strangely relaxing and good fun to play. If you like driving sims with a more realistic adventure feel to it, then you will love this! If you enjoyed the TV show 'Ice Road Truckers' you will absolutely love this! Only thing I could possible say to improve on but it doesn't really detract from the game, is the clunky way of moving between countries and bringing your vehicles with you.
