Review: Feeling Better! - I have multiple medical conditions -- but one doctor recently suggested I may have chronic fatigue syndrome and/or fibromyalgia. That's not good news -- but at least it gave to me a path to start researching options to make me feel better. Years ago I was told once I started treating my hypothyroidism with Synthroid (brand name) over the generic, I'd feel great. Years passed -- No such luck. I was also told if I started treating my type 2 diabetes with Metformin, I'd feel loads better. Four years passed -- no help with energy (if anything, it got worse). At some point I just stopped doing everything and anything I loved due to constant pain. I can say by my mid-30s, I thought it would be unbearable to live this way. I've had spinal surgery, knee surgery, abdominal surgery, repair of a large hiatal hernia, etc. -- but no relief in energy no matter what. I take Nature's Code supplements (as well as others), but they never resulted in restoring energy. I even use the Philips blue-light therapy, but very little improvement in sleep. Then I read about other supplements while researching CFS and fibromyalgia, and Ribose stood out. I honestly didn't think it would work. I've been taking it only a few weeks, and the aching is less -- not a whole lot less, but enough to notice. I used to have trouble getting up--as if I was stuck like velcro to a chair. My knees, ankles, hips, and shoulders seemed not to cooperate -- that is until a week ago when I got right up, pain-free and without any effort. I actually stopped and recognized this moment two seconds after it happened because it was so unusual. Then I just went about my day because I forgot I had even taken the D Ribose. Yes, I had aches again later in the evening -- felt myself wind down. But when I take these (2 tabs, 3 times a day) -- I seem to get some relief. When every task is painful, and you dread even things that make you happy because of pain -- well, anything relatively safe is worth a try. I cleared it with my nutritionist and she said it was fine, but seemed not to know it well. For someone like me -- even 10% improvement is a miracle and greatly appreciated. I'm sort of excited to see if I have more improvement. I wrote this review so that others who are in the undecided zone might want to give it a try. I think results vary from person to person -- and I'm approaching my fatigue from all angles. I'd call your doctor's office to clear it before you invest; but in my case, it seems to be helping.

Seems to be a good product, but I don't like having to take 3 pills once or twice a day. The product I used previously , which was out of stock, was only 1 capsule/ day
