It also has a set screw at the bottom to make it more compact for storage. **Q: Can this jack be used on a full sized truck (Silverado)?** A: Yes, 1 1/2 tons = 3,000 lbs and each corner of a full size truck will weigh much less than that (curb wt is less than 8,000 lbs). The only problem you might run into is lift height, but if you have stock tires/suspension then it should lift the truck enough to change a tire, etc. If it's too short, you can just use a block of wood between the frame and the jack to gain added height. I've had this jack for about 5 years now (and I use it a LOT!) and it has been a great addition to my garage. **Q: Hi! Is it two or single piston jack?** A: It is a single.
