That's the main reason I use mine. Be advised, with more weight in the Portafile, the front latch will not hold. I buy these to give to my clients. I've seen these boxes stay in use over long periods of time. They hold up well, and have the extra benefit of having almost no metal, so they don't cause problems at court or the airport security stations. 2016 Aug 29: update. The most recent shipment came with broken clasps. :-( Not sure if it was a product defect or a shipping defect, but the clasps seem to be the weak link in these otherwise excellent organizers. I dropped the rating to a 4 because of the clasp problem.
