From the packaging to the construction, it is clear that this is not a cheap, flimsy case but rather one that is well-constructed and well-thought out. The part that fits around the tablet fits well, with cutouts perfectly positioned for all the buttons, front and rear cameras, speaker, even microphone. It fits the tablet tightly and is secured by a cleverly hidden velcro tab.The portfolio is also well constructed, with cushy leather. It zips very tightly around the tablet, so you won't be able to fit a lot else in, but it provides what appears to be excellent protection. The zipper and pulls appear to be durable. The stand connects by a ribbon flap, and is held flat magnetically. Again, all appears sturdy and the flap doesn't seem like it will dislodge itself and flap around, or get bent. The whole thing looks very professional and I won't be embarrassed or self-conscious to bring it to meetings, interviews, and the like.Minor cons/points to note:- It makes the whole tablet heavy to carry around. But then, you expect real leather to be heavy.- It did have an initial chemical-ish smell which dissipated quickly.- The tablet case part does not cover the corners, so if you were ever to un-velcro the tablet case and use it on its own, if you drop it the corners will get dinged.- It can be hard to start zipping as the two zips can get a little stuck down near the fold of the portfolio. I imagine that will loosen with time.- The portfolio does not fold backwards on itself, so it is awkward to balance in one hand while writing on the tablet.- The pocket on the left side will not fit full sheets of paper, as this case is not letter-sized. You will have to fold them in half to get them to fit.Overall I'm really satisfied with this purchase and would get it again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy and Useful *by R***L on Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2013* The Note 10.1 has become my primary tablet for both personal and business. Business being the main reason for purchasing the rooCase. Two slots for business cards (one for clients and one for your own cards), a medium pocket for random items and a large flap to hold an additional paper pad or any papers a client may give you. The stand is sturdy and has a strong magnetic recoil to prevent flapping around when not in use. All very simple and convenient.The case itself is actually two cases. The inner case holds the Note and offers decent protection on all sides, corners and back. The inner case velcros to the inside of the outer case and there are two zippers that enclose the entire assembly. When everything is sealed up it feels incredibly strong. I imagine it would take a serious body slam to cause any sort of damage.Note: As with most cases, there is no screen scratch protection other then raised edges to prevent it sliding on its face if you happen to drop it. Additional screen protector recommended.Cons:Tablet must be removed from outer case to take pictures (big negative for me)No additional stylus holder (there's and elastic strap for a pen, which is nice, but a stylus will fall right out)Samsung S pen difficult to remove when in the case.Overall this case is near perfect. However, I use the Note 10.1 as an "all in one" work notepad/tablet which often requires taking pictures of products, work progress, etc.... Removing from outer case every time you need to take a picture is not only a pain but will drastically reduce the Velcros life span. If rooCASE left everything in its outstanding case the same and simply added a small hole for the camera (like other ipad cases) I would not only rate five stars but would re-purchase just for that option. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazingly Perfect Case! *by K***H on Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2012* I bought one of these cases after not being happy with a regular book style case that was advertised as made for the GALAXY Note 10.1.I couldn't be happier with this case. It looks amazing and professional. Also, when it's all zipped up you can't really tell what's inside. It makes me feel safer carrying around a tablet (ya hear in the news how people are stealing them and beating people up when they know you have a tablet or expensive phone on you.)It's stylish and it seems to be the most effective case on the market. The outter case zipps up completely and safe guards your Galaxy Note tablet 100% from anything getting inside and damaging it (Other cases that don't zip up allow paper clips or pens to slide in a scratch your tablet.) I also have a couple cats and I'm not worried if they run across the tablet anymore because it's all safe and zipped up in it's case.It is also cheaper than almost every other case out there and the quality is really impressive. The leather (or pleather, IDK which it is) is thick and durable. This is not a cheap product!You have access to all ports, etc; just like the description says.
