It is incredibly itchy as well, and I'm not allergic to wool; I wear and knit with it all the time. This actually feels prickly, like steel wool. It doesn't hold together well AT ALL when knitting with it. It broke apart multiple times within one garment knitting, and it was a small garment, just 2 skeins of this stuff. Also, the finished product was shapeless and had no bounceback - looked like a mess after just trying it on.
