Unfortunately it arrived with some of the pieces damage so it was very difficult to put together but I’m pretty handy and was able to fix them and get the bed put together notwithstanding. It’s extraordinarily firm, doesn’t have any give or push back to it when you sit down. But it’s a very good-looking council! Its perfect for reading to my children. I think it complements our home office perfectly. The fact that it folds out into a bed was the selling point for me. You can get nicer sofas that are velvet, I’m sure that are more comfortable to sit on, but I couldn’t find one that also served as a bed. It’s easy to recline and does the job.
