This chef coat in a Medium size fits me perfectly and might fit just a little bit bigger guy than me. If you're on the large side of XL, then go for the Large size coat. For a 6'1" guy at 220 lbs, the coat isn't too long and fits me well. I wish the smaller of the two pen pockets was just a little bit wider. With that said, the pockets are deep enough to hold a thermometer perfectly and I like that. Many companies offer pen pockets that are too short and the thermometer sticks out of your arm pocket.Finish - Decent breathable fabric that's not stiff at all. Ordered the grey color, and it's a decent darker grey that looks pretty decent. Buttons are well built and easy to put on as well.
