It’s extremely heavy, so that might weigh it down….. but I’ve had mine since 2018 and moved twice…… it’s solid as a rock and doesn’t make a peep !! **Q: Does this come with brackets for attaching a headboard or do you need to buy those separately?** A: Honestly, if you buy a standalone headboard you could probably just zip tie it to the frame with no issues. The brackets seem hard to come by. **Q: The picture shows that you can basically put this inside of a bed to use as a box spring/base... has anyone tried to use it this way? Problems?** A: We have a queen cast iron bed with headboard, footboard, side rails, and bottom rails for box springs. This 60”x80” platform has recessed legs so we fit it down into the original bed frame without having to make any adjustments. We did not have to attach it to either headboard or footboard (they’re attached to side rails).
