## Description

Review: Replacement for original - The old one 65 years old, seen in the frontal picture, had only 2 wires and is a bi-metal thermostat. The new one, you can see, had 7 wires and completely different. Honeywell said the new one is a replacement for the old. By reading carefully and following directions that came with the new one and usi g a littlecommonsense, it works perfectly and even better than the old one. I had to remove 2 wires from the new one that were not needed and now have a 3 speed setting for the fan that as the temperature reaches the optimal set range, the fan speed will drop, if set on AUTO. Be sure to purchase the adapter plate for this thermostat so it can be easily mounted to the old wiring box.
Review: Replaced 1970s Line Volt Thermostat - I installed this myself. it took a couple of hours since I spent a lot of time documenting and tracing wiring from old thermostat (only 3) to the motor, the temperature sensor, and line voltage, and studying the installation guide on this new thermostat. I called Honeywell support to ask a question before I started, the guy was of no help, except to say this unit would not work on my system, even though it was designed for my system (Line Volt thermostat on a fan coil) per the product description. The unit works well, wish it came in a programmable, but am happy. This is more accurate and gives me automatic or manual control of the fan speed of which I have a 3 speed motor. It is more expensive than a 24v unit found at a big box store, but those won't work in my environment without a step down transformer, which I was not interested in introducing.

## Features

- Non-Programmable

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this work with with 2 wire from the wall configuration? My setup has only 2 wires line voltage configuration. If it will work how do i wire them?**
A: Yes it does. I replaced an old 2-wire Honeywell setup with this unit, and it worked just fine. The extra wires are for fan control (low, med, high). Look for my product review, which includes installation pics.

**Q: My old t6575d has two extra wires (pink-sw op and grey fan com) that won't fit into this. will this still work?**
A: I cannot answer, but the Honeywell, customer service line may be able to.

**Q: What's the difference between tb6575a, tb6575b, and tb6575c model? i need to replace an old (1960) 3-wire, 120v heat/cool fan coil unit in my condo.**
A: For my 1970 style Firstco fan coil, I replaced an old Honeywell 3 wire line volt thermostat with the TB6575A1000 SuitePro. Since my replaced my fan coil with a new model, but with a 3-speed motor, I connected the three speeds to the thermostat and it works fine. The answer to your question is below:
According to Honeywell website...
TB6575A1000/U
SuitePRO 3-Speed Fan Coil Thermostat, 120/240V, with 2 or 4 Pipe Manual/Auto Heat/Cool Changeover
TB6575C1016/U
SuitePRO 3-Speed Fan Coil Thermostat, 120 to 277V AC, without Logo, 2 or 4 Pipe
TB6575B1000/U
SuitePRO 3-Speed Fan Coil Thermostat, 120/240V, with 2-Pipe, Manual/Auto Heat-Cool Changeover
TB6575A1016/U
SuitePRO 3-Speed Fan Coil Thermostat, 120/240V, with 2 or 4-Pipe, Manual/Auto Heat-Cool Changeover
TB6575C1000/U
SuitePRO 3-Speed Fan Coil Thermostat, 277V, 2 and 4 Pipe

**Q: Is this a Redlink thermostat?**
A: No. Not Redlink and totally different from the Redlink ones which are for typical single family homes (heat pump or conventional HVAC systems). This thermostat is for 120V fan coils, small units located in apartments or offices, that are served by a large central plant.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastice and looks nice, so much better than 50 year old thermostat
*by R***B on October 26, 2014*

Works wonderful. I love --auto fan (3 speed) control, as it tends to run fan slower and thus more quiet. --ability to display actual temperature and setpoint is great. I chaecked the actual reading with thermometer, and it was accurate (but you can adjust +- temperature reading in settings) --no batteries, and saves settings when un-powered --very flexible, works with 1 supply system (hot/cold) or two (hot and cold), and can do auto detect (with addition of sensor), with or without water valve --can add detector for auto operation (run if someone in room), or can push button to indicate your leaving (and go to energy saving mode) --can direct wire to fan, not need to add other devices.
