I wish it did. It has a cap welded at the back end. But the shank is hallow. **Q: Will this fit a 2001 f150 supercrew?** A: Fits any 2". But, buyer beware, these are cheap Chinese knockoffs. This item was returned. Home Depot sells the authentic version. **Q: What size hitch pin will I need to use this?** A: You do not need a hitch pin unless you are talking about the pin that goes in the receiver hitch. I think that is about a 5 8th pin. That was one negative about this hitch they did not send a pin with it.
