Why is it so much more expensive then?** A: The carbon fiber offers better vibration absorption which comes into play with slow shutter speeds and long focal lengths. Other than that, it's just the weight reduction. If you walk, hike, bike and travel without a car, you'll appreciate every ounce that carbon fiber tripods save. **Q: I'm having a wobble with the head...is there an easy fix to this?** A: loosen the thumbscrew on the top of the mount, then rotate the head clockwise until tight. Then you can lockdown the head. should you need to rotate the head in a counter clockwise direction you have to loosen the thumbscrew slightly, other wise it becomes loose and the result will be head wobble. In addition, the tripod legs will go completely flat to the floor and allow the camera (depending on the lens used) to get within less than a foot from the floor.
