However, even if it is a synthetic flavouring I have been using it for some time now and it tastes very good. No-one would ever know that it is not real. Because I use a lot of both Almond and Vanilla flavouring in cooking, I find that the Preema Essence 500 ml is extremely good value for money versus the "genuine" but very expensive smaller bottles.
