Review: The PERFECT mugs!! - I don’t know why, but I just really wanted a large ceramic mug from which to drink my hot tea. I’d been drinking coffee using an aluminum double-walled insulated tumbler with a lid. But one day, I decided to try hot tea (and became hooked immediately!!) I felt my tea deserved a special mug, and wanted it to be too heavy for clumsy me to knock over. Then I found it!! It’s BEAUTIFUL, and oversized, and heavy. It’s my comfort mug! I have three or four full mugs of tea each day, and while I don’t know why (it must have roots in my childhood), but I couldn’t wait for the inside to become tea-stained. I guess I wanted it to look as well-loved as it is. ❤️

A: The Dowan website lists the company as being based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. It does not say where the products are manufactured. The website (which you can Google) has links to their social media, email address, and phone number for you to get a specific answer.

**Q: is the inside of the mug glazed?**
A: White matte finish, not shiny glaze.  Baking soda paste quickly reveals any coffee/tea stain buildup

**Q: Do you have this mug that reads, “Dad” on it?? I have one that says “mom” but would like one that says “Dad.”**
A: I have the blue Mom mug and the tan Dad mug. Got them at Kohl's. Sturdy ,good looking mugs. Use them all the time. It's the same lettering as the blessed and greatful mugs. Hope this helps. L. Malloy

But one day, I decided to try hot tea (and became hooked immediately!!) I felt my tea deserved a special mug, and wanted it to be too heavy for clumsy me to knock over. Then I found it!! It’s BEAUTIFUL, and oversized, and heavy. It’s my comfort mug! I have three or four full mugs of tea each day, and while I don’t know why (it must have roots in my childhood), but I couldn’t wait for the inside to become tea-stained. I guess I wanted it to look as well-loved as it is. ❤️
