NOT! I bought a six pack of CR123s before the unit arrived. They do not fit. Reading the included Instructions, "Use an AA battery or the supplied rechargeable lithium..." Other than that, the unit is totally solid. Spot and flood via push/pull front, way bright with three easily available settings, and a lifetime warranty. I am keeping it by all means. CR123s already returned.
