After all of that suffering (once a week), I'm 95% certain that it was sensitivity to super glue. I tried a handful of brands with different consistencies (liquid vs. gel). All caused a reaction. So I went out on a limb and dropped the money on this product. I've used it 3x, albeit sparingly, and no adverse reactions. Finally! * Adhesion seems as good as any other off the shelf CA glue. * The brush mitigates any mess and promotes the longevity of the product (volume). * Smell. I do pick up a faint smell that is reminiscent of "new" packaged plastic. It's very mild and most importantly, hasn't caused any allergy-symptoms.
