These filters rock, I do not know why other reviewers state that the seal is bad or no suction,, the only way it can malfunction is to omit it or place it upside down, which takes some doing. Physically the gasket is thicker than my OEM, and fits just a skoesh smaller in the housing,, and with an old squeege and new filter it is sucking water off the tile to the dry point. I have an older model that has worked great through two homes, five dogs and two kids. Most of our floors are either hardwood or tile, and we live in the northern mid-west. So we get dirt from all four seasons, plus road salt, etc. These filters work great, are washable and reusable. So when I scrub floors all day, any filter that gets clogged is replaced immediately with a clean one.
