It's a wonderful journal and it feels sturdy after getting a feel of it. I know I will enjoy it greatly. This journal has inspired me to make my own leather journals since it was so hard to come by one that attracted me in the slightest. This one is gorgeous. It is the perfect medium size, with an all around smooth clean surface. The metal A6 Binder is also durable. I rated it four stars because as soon as I opened it, I frowned because I was sure I was sent the wrong color. After realizing there is only a lake blue option and no forest green option, I realized that this is not forest green but a greener teal type color. So its like a forest teal.
