I put one of these over my bookbag in about 20 seconds the first time though. I am pretty sure I could do it much faster next time. These covers are small enough to pack away in a small place in my backpack. I am currently caring on of these around for my first rain storm with one of these covers. I did try to splash some water over one of these covers while it was one my backpack. The water beaded up and didn't soak through. So far so good.
