Is it like a soap?** A: Great Question!.. it is a hard almost like a polish composition- firm material , but when you work your brush in to it - a wet brush is best and wipe your brush back and forth it picks up the firm soap material and then you can work it in your brush with your fingers to clean- it works really well! **Q: can this also be used as a paint thinner?** A: This is a solid cake of brush soap. It will not thin paint and is not intended to be added to artwork. For oil based paints, solvents can thin paint and clean brushes, but this product will not. **Q: Can you use this on regular sized brushes? Like i paint houses. I've painted for years and have always used . I've wasted so much time and brush usage by doing so. This cleaner is the best! I paint with acrylics.
